Peta Murgatroyd And Maks Chmerkovskly Planning DWTS Comeback

Peta Murgatroyd Reveals What Makes Her Nervous About Returning to ‘Dancing With the Stars

Following the birth of her first child last month, professional ballroom dancer Peta Murgatroyd is returning to ABC's "Dancing With the Stars", where she will again compete against her fiance, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

She and Chmerkovskiy have been trying to get back into their groove. "I have definitely missed the dance floor", Murgatroyd said.

"I'm definitely a little bit nervous, but I'm very excited to get back", Murgatroyd said.

One of the issues on Murgatroyd's mind, however, is having to deal with her larger breasts brought on by the pregnancy.

The professional dancers, who got engaged in December 2015, welcomed Shai on January 4.

Murgatroyd, 30, and Chmerkovskiy, 37, have had a friendly rivalry on the dance floor over the years. This marks the first time since Maks won with Meryl Davis that the couple actually were on the same season together.

In an Us Weekly interview, Peta said what makes her most nervous about returning to the Dancing with the Stars 2017 cast is getting back into those skimpy costumes because she's breastfeeding.

Since Shai's birth, we've seen a ridiculous amount of adorableness from these two, including in the above clip.

"I just want to be healthy", she shared.

"It's going to take a little bit longer to get back up to the fitness that I had before, but I think it's going to be OK", she said. "I mean, not in a bad way, but it's always about you and about how you look, how you feel, because of the job requirements". "I'm going to take it slowly and hopefully I have an awesome partner to go through this with".

"Dancing with the Stars" celebrity Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his fiancé Peta Murgatroyd have announced the Hebrew name the duo gave to their new son days after welcoming the lovely baby boy into the world on February 14.

The celebrity cast of Dancing With the Stars 2017, Season 24, will be announced on GMA March 1 and the show premieres March 20 on ABC at 8 p.m., ET/PT.
