Mnuchin says administration tax plan coming soon

President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner will lead a new White House office aimed at reforming the federal government through private-sector solutions

"He's got ideal genes".

"In response to Mnuchin's comments, the group Center for Responsive Politics said in a tweet", Treasury Sec Steve Mnuchin appears to have violated an ethics rule - the same one that got @KellyannePolls into trouble". Futurist author Amy Web went on a tweetstorm in which she said that Mnuchin's comment was "one of the most misguided things I've heard from the Trump Admin so far".

Veering off the topic from what we can only assume he wanted to describe as Trump's rippling abs, Mnuchin also discussed tax reform, which some have feared will not get done any time soon if the recent health-care debacle is any indication.

Mnuchin, who said he "helped the president think through his economic programs" during the presidential campaign, seemed quite impressed with the way his boss' was handling his new job.

"We are going to tax reform simultaneously and comprehensive".

"We are not cutting this up and doing little pieces at a time", Mnuchin said. He also dismissed concerns that tax reform could run into the same hurdles as the health care replacement did.

In his earlier appearance, Mnuchin did not reveal whether the administration will include a contentious border adjustment tax that is in a House tax proposal.

In February, Axios examined Trump's diet and fitness habits.

He said "this is definitely not all baked in" to market expectations.

"He has ideal genes", the Treasury secretary repeated.

In addition to renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement with Mexico and Canada, Mnuchin said the administration was also planning to focus on stronger enforcement of other trade agreements.
