Documentary delves into life of music pioneer Clive Davis

Clive Davis: The Soundtrack Of Our Lives opened the Tribeca Film Festival, and now it's headed to Apple Music. Artists, celebrities and music fans packed into Radio City Music Hall to watch the screening of the documentary "Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives".

Clive Davis's annual pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles, which dates back 40 years, is known for flashy celebrity guests, intimate performances, and the aroma of exclusivity.

THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES from IM Global and Scott Free Productions, is coming exclusively to Apple Music customers around the world. "The Soundtrack of Our Lives", directed by Chris Perkel, gave a peek into Davis' personal and professional life.

"Clive is not only the chieftain who sits in an executive office and takes care of all the business, but he takes care of the artists as well", she said.

He said watching the documentary was somewhat hard, especially scenes with Houston, who died in 2012.

He went on to play a key role in the careers of Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, Santana, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Simon & Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears, the Kinks, the Grateful Dead and the Eurythmics. It has been acquired by Apple, and will soon be available to Apple Music subscribers.
