Stan Kroenke receives £1 billion offer to sell his stake in Arsenal

Indeed, Arsenal insiders believe that there is no chance of the ownership structure changing for a generation, with Kroenke's son, Josh, on the club board and keenly involved.

Stan Kroenke has insisted Arsenal are not for sale and reaffirmed his position as a "committed, long term investor".

He is, though, not part of the board or decision-making at the club.

He was a target for Arsenal fans during Sunday's 3-1 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium, with supporters chanting and holding banners telling him to leave the club.

Kroenke's statement comes at a time of great uncertainty at Arsenal, with manager Arsene Wenger's future still undecided, while there are fears that star duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez could push for a move away this summer. This includes the need to prepare a successor for Wenger, but in a very respectful way.

The post Alisher Usmanov makes bid Arsenal takeover appeared first on The Nation Nigeria. It's early right? It's just amusing how when people talk about his company and is it for sale or not for sale we straight away have a statement about it, ' said the Frenchman.

Arsenal will play in the Europa League for the first time next season and missing out on Europe's premier tournament may not sit well with their star players.
