More than 25000 child car seats recalled due to injury risk

Graco announced the recall of more than 25,000 auto seats because webbing did not meet federal requirements in crash tests.

An estimated 10 percent of the 25,494 seats are estimated to have the defect, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

The 25,494 Graco My Ride 65 seats recalled were produced between May and August 2014.

The company says the seat webbing might not restrain the child in the event of a crash.

The company's My Ride 65 convertible auto seats failed a crash test run by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Infant-seat models covered by the recall issued Tuesday, July 1, 2014, include the SnugRide, SnugRide Classic Connect (including Classic Connect 30 and 35), SnugRide 30, SnugRide 35, SnugRide Click Connect 40, and Aprica A30.
