Patty Jenkins still not signed for 'Wonder Woman 2'

Wonder Woman weekend collection Gal Gadot-starrer ruling American box office earns a whopping amount of $100.5 million

Patty Jenkins only signed on to direct Wonder Woman, but as she and Gal Gadot made such a fantastic pair, we can only imagine she will soon be in negotiations to continue at the helm of the "Wonder Woman" franchise. With Jenkins now a proven commodity, she could potentially demand a much higher payday to come back for another film. And if all of that wasn't enough, in 2012, Zehner wrote a 70-page report on why Wonder Woman deserved her own movie. On "The Tonight Show", Jimmy Fallon asked Gadot her delightful story about the audition, but ended up getting a full demonstration of how they used green screen magic for some of the reshot action scenes when Gadot was five months pregnant.

Some of the Wonder Woman hullaballoo comes from the fact that such a hugely successful film was directed by a woman, which is nice.

Amy Rees Anderson, founder of REES Capital and the IPOP Foundation, agreed that the film matters just as much to young men as it does to young women.

"Wonder Woman" didn't have to be fantastic. Jenkins says she embodies love, justice, kindness and independent thinking. All in all, it sounds like a great time to be Patty Jenkins (and a fan of Wonder Woman). At 20, she served the mandatory two years in the Israeli army.

"I just wanted to take a moment and thank you", Gadot starts out in the video. At one point, Diana and her company enter a dark and intense battlefield called "No Man's Land" that has seen numerous casualties over a year's time and Tervor informs her is unwinnable.

Ultimately, Zehner said, "Wonder Woman" is about standing for something and making a difference. "I want to live in a world where every person... knows (they) can be smart and strong and powerful and kind and all the things that Wonder Woman is". Now she interns at the Deseret News in the Arts and Entertainment section.
