3 militants killed in ISIS attack on Afghanistan's main spy agency

An Afghan official says an attack is underway in the country's capital where gunmen have raided and occupied a partially constructed building near an intelligence training center in western Kabul

Gunmen opened fire near a training facility on Monday in Afghanistan's main intelligence agency in Kabul, leading to a fight with security forces that resulted in three militants being killed, local authorities said.

The gunmen, who launched their assault with a auto bomb and rocket-propelled grenades, were wearing police uniforms.

A group of armed attackers entered an under-construction building in the National Directorate of Security training center in the Afshar area of Kabul, the Interior Ministry said.

Afghan officials say an attack claimed by the extremist group Islamic State (IS) on an intelligence training center in the capital has ended with the death of three attackers.
