Trump vents frustration over Russian Federation probe, rails against Federal Bureau of Investigation

U.S. President Donald Trump's national security adviser has told an worldwide audience that the evidence of Russian meddling in the 2016 American election is beyond dispute.

If it was the GOAL of Russian Federation to create discord, disruption and chaos within the US then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. They are laughing their asses off in Moscow.

Last week, Special Counsel Robert Mueller filed the first indictments against Russian nationals and organizations for interference in the 2016 USA presidential election.

In another tweet, Trump accused the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign while there was none.

Trump met Sunday afternoon with Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan, discussing immigration, taxes, infrastructure and the Florida shooting, the White House said. He also said Russian Federation is poised to target the US midterm elections later this year.

On Saturday, Trump undercut his national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, after he said evidence of Russian meddling in the 2016 American election is beyond dispute.

President Donald Trump's Twitter cannon roared over the weekend as the latest turn in the Russian Federation investigation seemingly placed him on the defensive.

Former National Security adviser Michael Flynn and former campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos have pleaded guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about their contacts with Russian officials and are cooperating with Mueller's probe. "Get smart America!" he added. They say they will likely never be able to determine whether the Russian involvement swung the election toward Trump.

This investigation is about the sanctity of Americas democratic system and of federal laws that forbid foreign nationals from meddling in USA elections.

Trump might want to focus on collusion, but his blanket denial that he ever questioned Russian meddling runs up against his own words.

President Barack Obama took heavy criticism in 2014 when he went golfing during a vacation just minutes after denouncing the militants who had beheaded an American journalist.

Schiff also said that the lack of response by Obama meant that others around the world watched and "determined that cyber is a cost-free intervention". "So whatever allegations are being mounted against us are simply fantasies that are being used for political reasons inside the United States in the fight between different sides of the political divide".

Trump viewed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's declaration that the indictment doesn't show that any American knowingly participated as proof of his innocence and is deeply frustrated that the media are still suggesting that his campaign may have colluded with Russian officials, according to a person who has spoken to the president in the last 24 hours but is not authorized to publicly discuss private conversations.

The assertions that nothing fundamental has changed about Washington's commitments to the world do seem to have eased some concerns among some allies, particularly regarding the US commitment to defend North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies against the threat of Russian aggression. Three companies were also indicted.

The same TIME article reported that similar efforts were happening four years earlier: "In 2008 both the Obama and McCain campaigns were the victims of a sophisticated hack, believed by law enforcement to be tied to foreign governments..."

"Of course, as we've often said, Bob Mueller and his team know a lot more about all this than is out there that we know, and I think there's much more to come".
