We are nearly halfway through the year, which means holiday-planning for many people - and if you have some free time on your hands over the next few months, you could be in luck. Wow Air started accepting applications on April 23 and will continue till May 14. The airline says that it is looking for full of life, fun loving pair of individuals who could think big. The applicant can apply alone or bring a friend along or two friends can take up the job together.

From June 1 to August 15, two winners will be relocated to the airline's home in Reykjavik where they will be given a "trendy" downtown apartment, a vehicle and a monthly salary to cover costs.

WOW Air is looking for a travel guide to cover as many of its 38 destinations (from Tel Aviv to Toronto, Salzburg to San Francisco, Montreal to Milan) as you can over the summer.

Each traveller will receive a salary of around R20,000 per month, which comes in addition to the apartment, as well as transportation, and various other tours around Iceland.

Over the course of the 10-week job, travel guides will take eight trips to WOW Air worldwide destinations and four domestic trips through Iceland.

For taking part in the competition the applicants need to go on the competition website and upload a two-minute video clip offering travel tips for their respective hometown. The contest is open to candidates across the world. The lucky victor will be announced on May 18th and your travel mission will begin on June 1st and end on August 15th.
