The Xbox event was packed with cinematic snippets or play of 52 games, including new instalments to blockbuster franchises such as "Fallout" and "Halo". The isometric hack-and-slash combat, puzzles, aesthetic, and overall tone of the game were impressive, and the little fox protagonist looks set to make a big splash on Xbox One. Developer 343 Industries has revealed more information regarding the development of Halo Infinite, and the Slipspace Engine.

The next entry in the Halo franchise is official - and it's called Halo Infinite. The footage seen in the trailer is from an engine demo, and the game is still far from completion. "We are amplifying our investment in new worlds".
